Facilities and accommodation

The Glenborrodale Activities Centre comprises of two buildings Glen House and Glen Cottage each equipped with cooking facilities, bed linen, oil fired heating and recreation areas.

Groups are charged for activities and amenities which vary according to the size of the group.

Glen Cottage Sleeps 14 -     4 bedrooms with 2 beds     2 bedrooms with 3 beds

Glen House Sleeps 8 -     4 bedrooms with 2 beds

 

Indoor recreation facilities:

   - Games room offering pool, table football and table tennis
   - Many board games

Outdoor recreation facilities:

5-a-side football, basketball ring, volleyball, archery, mini golf
Traditional team sports all on offer with a 5-a-side football pitch, basketball ring and back board.

Equipment hire

The centre offers heavily subsidised rates for the hire of equipment. A price list can be obtained by contacting Clubs for Young People’s National Office.

Glenborrodale is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA). To ensure AALA safety procedures are adhered to, groups must be accompanied by a competent adult for all activities and by a qualified leader on hazardous activities.
